Hope Scholarship
West Virginia’s Hope Scholarship empowers families to make school choices that are right for their educational needs. The Hope Scholarship program offers qualifying West Virginia’s K-12 students an opportunity to build an individual learning experience that works best for their child. The scholarship allows K-12 students to receive financial assistance that can be used for tuition, homeschool curriculum, and other qualifying expenses.
Using Your Hope Scholarship at LCA
Already approved? Complete these steps to direct your scholarship toward LCA tuition.
Select your school each year. Sign in to the Hope Scholarship parent portal. Under My Applications, use the school-selection drop-down to select Legacy Christian Academy. School selections do not carry over from year to year.
Confirm your tuition details. Contact the LCA office to confirm your enrollment, quarterly tuition amount, and any balance your family is responsible for.
Pay through My School. After your quarterly scholarship funds arrive, open the blue My School tile in the Hope Scholarship portal and complete your student’s tuition payment to LCA.
Repeat every quarter. The program’s funding notice says this payment step must be completed each quarter for the school to receive the funds.
Visit the official Hope Scholarship website for portal access and current guidance. See the Parent/Guardian Portal User Guide (PDF) for school selection and payment instructions.
Need help? Contact LCA for tuition questions. For portal assistance, contact the Hope Engagement Center at help@hopescholarshipwv.com or 681-999-4673.
Based on the program’s July and August 2026 notices for the 2026–2027 school year. Follow the latest instructions shown in your portal.
